Emperor of Fields...

For those who protest, I lay disarmed,
Begging attention for the toilers who've farmed..

I salute the architect of rural economy,
A sigh for his plight, respect for his agony.
No sign of regret, no cause of resentment,
Momentarily happy about his seasonal establishment.

Erratic be the weather, erratic be the rain,
Still with hopeful eyes He sees the upcoming grain.
Sure of his hard work, content in his efforts,
Aspires to grow farms even in deserts.

Feeding the world on time without failure.
At times of starvation proving to be the savior.
Paying tribute to his sacrifices, we welcome his yields,
We gratefully thank the Emperor of fields..
