Call the mirror!

A day in my life,
when I felt I was going astray,
I needed a guide
who would teach me to fight.
God sent an angel
but the angel denied.

I was all alone in the darkness
with no star to shine,
I searched and searched,
but could not find,
The way that was far away.
'Help me!' I prayed,
God gave me light,
and said: "I give you food,
I give you light,
I give you water,
and I give you night.
But, I don't have your answers.
When in confusion, ask yourself,
befriend yourself and you'll never be alone.
Bless you my child!"

A fine morning I was alone again,
nobody to share my feelings nobody there.
I then called the mirror,
and I called it aloud.
I looked in the mirror and was surprised,
It was same in color and identically sized.
I gazed it all day and all night.
Finally, I met myself and recognized.

Now I call the mirror, and I don't have to call aloud,
I ask myself the questions and the mirror answers out loud.
